What you need to know before you visit our bridal studio...
Q: Do I need an apointment? A: Although not necessary, we do recommend you make an apointment to receive our best attention and service. Appointments are highly recommended especially on Fridays and Saturdays as priority is given to those who have made appointments. We always try to fit you in as best we can and so if you are prepared to wait or just wish to browse then please do feel free to just turn up. Week days are quieter.
Q: How long will my appointment take? A: Our aim is to ensure you look and feel fantastic, so please allow up to 2 hours.
Q: How long will my dress take to arrive after ordering?
A: Some wedding dresses take 4 to 6 weeks and some 8 to 12 weeks. It all depends on the dress you choose. If you are limited for time we can rush through orders but this may be subject to an additional charge, however, we do always have bridal wear available 'off the peg'.
Q: Is it true I will wear one size up in my wedding dress?
A: Unfortunately yes! Most wedding dress are sized smaller, usually because they are cut to a couture size chart. Once you select your gown we will measure you and the appropriate size will be ordered. The measurements we take are typically your bust, waist and hips. However we cannot take responsibility for fluctuations in a customer's size/weight which may result in incorrect dress size.
Q: Are alterations always necessary?
A: Most brides-to-be do need some kind of alteration even if it is only in length. We can only do minor alterations at this time.
Q: What items do I need for my dress fitting?
A: You will need to have everything you will be wearing with the dress on the day, e.g. underwear, hoop, shoes. We have these in stock so don't worry if you do not have these items yet. Changing these items after your first fitting can dramatically affect the way the dress fits.
Q: How do I pay for my dress?
A: You will be asked to pay a non-refundable deposit when you place your order for a made-to-measure dress. The balance is then payable upon the arrival of your dress to our store. We accept cash or cheque payments.
Q: Do you accept returns on bridalwear?
A: Unfortunately not. All sales are final. You will find this is consistent policy within the bridalwear industry.
